What is a ready test?

GED Ready™ is the official practice test for the GED® test. It was developed by the same people who created the real test, but it’s only half the length of the actual test.

A: You do not need to book ahead for taking the Knowledge Test, but you do need to arrive during our office testing hours. Details of the testing hours are shown on our contactpage. During these testing hours, you can simply request at reception to undertake the test. We provide the Knowledge Test at both of our Road Ready locations.

What are the requirements for a waived test?

CLIA requires that waived tests must be simple and have a low risk for an incorrect result. However, this does not mean waived tests are completely error-proof. To decrease the likelihood of incorrect results, waived testing needs to be performed correctly, by trained personnel and in an environment where good testing practices are followed.
