I’m Emily, founder of Maid of Gingerbread. I design and make modern 3D gingerbread creations for events, film, TV, and installations in my beautiful East London kitchen-studio.
When I was just starting out and looking for a small commercial kitchen I found it really hard to find somewhere suitable and affordable, so now I’ve got a space I like to give new small businesses that opportunity by renting it out whenever I’m not busy baking.
It’s the perfect size and setup for anyone who wants to try out a commercial space before taking the leap to hiring somewhere full-time, or just batch baking in prep for a market stall or pop-up, for example. I really enjoy meeting new food business owners and seeing what they go on to create using my equipment!
