What does the TrustMark represent?
TrustMark is an organisation sponsored by the UK Government for the accreditation of organisations which themselves accredit tradesmen involved in repair, maintenance, and improvement.
Do RECs expire?
Energy Certificates can be sold, but are typically used as a credit against their own power usage. The eligibility to use RECs expires at the end of the fifth calendar year following the year they were generated.
Who certifies green power?

Currently, one organization certifies green power products in the United States: the Center for Resource Solutions’ Green-e Energy program. This organization has programs in place that not only certify green power products, but also independently verify the products on an annual basis.
How do I get a renewable energy certificate?
The eligible entities shall apply to the Central Agency for Certificates within Six months after corresponding generation from eligible renewable energy projects provided that the online application for issuance of certificates may be made on 10th /20th or last day of the month.
How much does it cost to join TrustMark?

Can RECs be resold?
A REC can be sold separately from the actual electricity (kilowatt-hour, or kWh). If you own the RECs associated with your renewable energy project’s electricity output, you can sell these RECs to another party.
How are RECs calculated?
A REC is produced when a renewable energy source generates one megawatt-hour (MWh) of electricity and delivers it to the grid. For example, if a wind power facility produces 5 MWh of electricity, they have 5 credits to either keep or sell.
